Ewing, Mercer County
The Abrams Residence is a boutique assisted living setting located on Walter Street in Ewing, New Jersey. First added to the wider Greenwood House campus in 2003, the residence is licensed for 29 assisted living beds. It offers an intimate, residential atmosphere where residents receive supportive personal help while maintaining their private space. Apartments come in one- and two-bedroom layouts designed for everyday ease. Each unit includes a kitchenette, a dedicated living room area, a bedroom, a private bathroom, and spacious closets. Outside the apartments, residents can gather in shared living areas, including a central living room complete with a fireplace and a large-screen television. Dining follows kosher standards under rabbinical supervision, serving three prepared meals a day in an elegant dining room setting. Life here stays active through regular social, physical, and creative options. Residents can join book clubs, arts and crafts, yoga, tai chi, and card games, or attend live musical events, discussions with guest speakers, and scheduled trips to area museums, restaurants, and shops. Daily support is tailored to individual needs, with staff on site around the clock to assist with personal routines and daily tasks. Licensed nurses oversee medication administration and manage medical supplies, while apartments are equipped with emergency call systems and safety monitoring. If care requirements increase over time, residents receive priority consideration for transfer to the campus skilled nursing center.
